@glee Live, she said," Mom, go home watch glee's DVD!"

@ 6:18pm : 05282011: stop in the entrance of the parking lot that right in front of the staples center, Craig yelled out, " hey do I know you?" smiled at one of the securities.

"No." the male security replied. After a small chat, we found out that he also works at The Children hospital. He refused to take our the 25 bucks for our parking. :)

There were so many people walking towards the center. Moms with their teen Tweens, groups of teenage, groups of people who are in their 20s and 30s, mid 40s/50s couples. May be I should sum it up with 2 words, "all ages"

Walked passed a group of people who were waiting to get to tell their stories to the media about how Glee changed their live. Across the street, there were a chevy tent where they had people line up for the "GLEEK" 's Tattoo. Iz and I got one. We also decided to pick up a Glee's Tshirt and a book for Izzyboo.

Line Up. After 10 mins, we got into the stadium. There were still not a lot of people there. Found our sit 16 rolls left ( between the middle left and the left) from the stage. GREAT SITS.

Sat Iz down. The look of her face was priceless.. NOt excited, Not happy, Not surprised.. but she looked busy, busy absorbing the people, the environment, busy looking at the big screen TV that was really close to us which played the recap of the Glee's show. People started to come in, 1000 people.. 2000 people.. 5000 people.. 15000 people.. 19000 people.. NO Kidding.. i would say there were about 20000 people in the stadium, waiting and screaming for the show to start.

@8:10pm, they dimmed down the light, the stadium got darker and darker. The LAD did the opening show. Great dancers, great Music but it was LOUD, SUPER LOUD. Iz got annoyed by it, she whined, she wanted to leave.. she wants to go to the bathroom.. OH NO! 30Mins went by, The concert started, Glee members were out there on the stage, but our izzyboo was still unhappy with the screaming Glee's fans and the incredible loud audio. FInally, we asked the customer service to see if we can move a little further away from the stage.

No kidding, they moved us from 16 rolls from stage where we can actually see Artie's or Rachel's face to very far from the stage where we can only see them in silhouette. Iz was still not in a good mood..

she kept saying, " Mom, go home, watch Glee's DVD" until she fell asleep in my arms. AND IT WAS only 9:30pm. I couldn't believe that, she don't usually sleep until at least 11pm.. and she was able to fall asleep while her fav. people performed. SERIOUSLY?!!! But one thing tho, she slept very peaceful, I saw smiles on her face every time i looked down at her.

Once in a while, I would think, "Seriously, are we really paying $700 for this?!" but then , it was only a split second. I would do that again.. Definitely worth.

It was GREAT CONCERT, GREAT COMPANIES! We will see Glee Live 2012, am sure Iz would be able to enjoy more.

"More scars, More stories to tell..."

@ 10:22 this am, Iz's preschool. I over heard a woman telling the school bus drivers, "it's a good day for me today, more scars, more stories to tell, don't you guys agree?"

"I totally agree", I said it silently to myself.

Not to long later, Iz came out. We drove home but I couldn't stop thinking of each scar Iz has on her body. Each of them tell it's own story.  Got home, I couldn't help it but to take pictures of each of her scar.

Sitting down over here looking at those pictures reminded me so much about what she went through, what we went through for the past 3 years.  Nothing really have to be sad about it but I think I am proud to say, "My daughter is strong, My daughter is alive, My daughter is beautiful in many ways.. my daughter is happy... and my daughter is this and that.." :D

Picture Scar #1
Picture Scar #1: This is her open heart scar. All 3 surgeries in the same place, but you can still see the 1incision buried under the 3rd scar.  They closed her chest with sutures, that was because her chest got left open for 4 days.  We can actually see her little walnut through a yellow thin strip went on top of it.Not easy but all good now.
Picture Scar #2

Picture Scar #2: This is from her chest tube.  Chest tube was used to drain the blood from her chest after the surgeries. You can tell she got couple of them for the past three years. There are at least 3 of them from this pictures.  I remember she hold so still when they pulled it out on her 2nd surgeries. And with her third surgery, she was walking with it (2 tubes) all around the floor.  Started to walk 16 hours after her heart surgery. She was a strong kid.  The very first thing she asked for when she woke up was, " High School Musical's book?"  All she needed was her high school musical not even a pain killer.

Picture Scar #3

Picture Scar #3: Another chest tube scar on her right side of her body. This wasn't a good one. It gave her a lot of pain when she had her first surgery.  The tube was inserted to close to her true ribs bone. Was painful.

Picture Scar #4

Picture Scar #4: Central line. It was between her neck and upper chest.  BAD BAD BAD one.  She experienced 2 hours heavily bleeding in the CTICU when she had her second surgery.

I am so big and tall
I am proud of it!

The lady was right, "more scars, more stories to tell"

Word from Dr. Skaggs, "It's very rare that it got fixed by itself!"

@7:40am.  I can smelled the medicines, the needles, the sadness , the happiness.. as soon as I walked into the hospital.  Iz's had an annual Orthopedics checked up this morning.  Iz got diagnosed with anterior wedged vertebrae 3 years ago. Dr can't do nothing about it because she is too young. Besides they didn't know if this would become worse and affect her walking.

Got the stickers from the front door, walked passed by donate blood center, the surgical waiting room, got into the elevator, up to 4 floor.  Checked in , sat for about 10 mins.

I heard, "Goodman!" As usual the nurse didn't know how to pronounce Iz's first name.  We walked to the nurse and she asked silently, "How to you say her first name?"

"e..sa..bow!" I said.  Then we followed behind the nurse. X-tray is needed. Tooked the pictures [ according to Iz]. My heart rate increased, was nervous and didn't know what would be next.  Bad news, Good news?  After the x-tray, the nurse showed up again, took us to room #2.

We sat there for another 10 mins, Dr Skaggs walked it, followed by a question, "Do you see anything abnormal about her lately?"

"DAMN IT, WHAT NOW?"  I said it out loud in my head.

"Nope, she seems fine to me, Dr" I answered his questions.

"Me too!" Dr.Skaggs with a huge smile, then continue," It's very very rare that it got fixed by itself.  I never seen that before. Whatever it was, it was gone. CONGRATULATION!" He shake Iz's hand , then mine. He left.

I can finally finally put down the rock that deep in my heart. I can breath better now, I can fly, I can smell the happiness better, I can sleep better, I can ... I can.. and I can..

Thank you God! And also A special thank to LISA HICKEY, Izzyboo's OT forever!

Iz called the school this afternoon without me knowing it...

@12:41pm, I called Miss Debbra to tell her that Iz won't be coming in school today because I want to spend sometime with her.

Before I hang up, Miss Debbra said, "Can I ask you a funny question?"

"of Coz!" I replied without a doubt.

"Do you know if Iz called earlier?"  She asked. I cracked up before she said anything else.  Miss Debbra told me she thinks it was iz who called. All she heard was a kiddo voice sounded like Izzy said, " No school today.." then she hang up.

After the phone call, I checked my phone history.. A phone called was made at 12:06 pm to her school. LMAO..LMAO..

I asked Iz what did she said to miss Debbra and she said, " No school today ok, see you tomorrow!

LOL!  What am I going to do with her...??!!

An afternoon with Caydee

[1:30 @ Goodmans]

Izzyboo had such a great time with Caydee! As usual, playset, Kitchen, playdol, chalks, dolls and food are involved.   But the funniest thing of the afternoon was Iz couldn't stand the hair accessory on Caydee's head. She tried her best to reach out to pull it off, that annoyed Caydee.( Come on, who wouldn't?!)  LMAO.. failed couple times but eventually she got it...

LOOK!  LOOK! That priceless smile on her face... the good thing was it made Caydee cracked up too.

Welcome Hugs

Two Index fingers, Each on Each side of her ears...

[@CPK Burbank with Uncle Jonathan]

The manager came by to ask if everything was fine.  As usual, our friendly daddy started to make conversation with the manager.  Things gone out of control, the manager just won't stop talking. 5 mins after 5 mins, he ended staying for 20 mins. I heard Izzyboo took a deep breath, then had each of her index finger on each side of her ears and said, " LOOK!"  - She basically telling the manager to stop talking and GO!

LMAO!LMAO!

YES! SHUT UP!
